Japanese Baby Names
Thinking of boys names for Japanese/American Baby!?
My Japanese husband and I (American) are trying to come up with some boys names if we have a son (I am 18 weeks pregnant). My husband prefers Bible names since he is a pastor and we have a daughter named Naomi.These are the names we have come up with;
Jonah (Yona in Japanese)
Josaiah (Yoshia in Japanese)
Aaron (Aron in Japanese)
Zion (Shion in Japanese)
For a middle name, we are thinking about using “Jordon” or “Joseph”
Our last name is Matsuda.
Which name do you like?
My husband kinda likes “Jo-Jo” for a nickname because it is a popular comic book character…Hmmmm?
My husband is an American of Japanese descent and I am an American of Western European descent. Because we live in America, we gave our kids western names. Their cousins have Japanese first names and do not like them because of the constant mispronunciations, misspellings and teasing.
